Emma Filipsson

I am a Swedish artist and designer, living in Mexico. I studied at Saint Martins London and Illustration at The Royal College of Art. Have a teaching qualification from UK and fluent like a native in English. Currently giving botanical arts classes in Parque Juárez, linked to my Phd proposal which I am currently working on, related to contemporary botanical illustration and iconography. I will teach you a bit about plants throughout art history and various painting techniques of botanical illustration. You will learn, get loads of inspiration with me and enjoy the wonderful trees and plants which exists in the park. It will be a meditative, relaxing and illuminating learning experience. You will learn from the group of students and also get to make new friends!
