I believe that learning a language is not just about memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules; it's about gaining the confidence to communicate in real-life situations and understanding the cultural context that gives words their true meaning.

My methodology is communicative and student-centered. Each lesson is tailored to your specific needs, whether you are preparing for everyday conversations, navigating work environments, or simply wanting to feel more connected to the people and culture around you. We focus on speaking and listening from day one, using authentic materials such as news articles, short stories, music, and even clips from Mexican films or series. This way, you learn the language as it is actually spoken, while also discovering the rich cultural traditions, humor, and expressions that make México unique.

A typical class is dynamic and interactive. We might start with a warm-up conversation, review a grammar point through practical examples, and then dive into a real-world scenario—like ordering food, making phone calls, or discussing current events. I also incorporate exercises inspired by my background in debate and public speaking, helping you build fluency and confidence in expressing your ideas clearly and naturally.

With over a decade of experience teaching humanities, literature, and language at various levels—from high school to university—I have developed a patient, encouraging teaching style. I hold a PhD in Modern Letters and have trained as an educator at the University of Glasgow, which has given me a deep appreciation for how people learn languages in multicultural settings.
