As an English teacher, my primary focuses are confidence, fluency, and fun. My methodology is flexible, tailored specifically to each student’s learning style, goals, and interests. While I adapt to the individual, the core of my approach centers on conversation practice and interactive language use. When specific grammar gaps, vocabulary needs, or pronunciation errors arise, I work closely with the student to address and resolve these challenges in real time.
My experience spans both online instruction for adults and in-person teaching for children aged 6–9. In my online adult classes, I facilitate everything from foundational grammar and vocabulary building to fluid, conversation-based sessions focused on daily life and personal interests. Additionally, I spent one year in Costa Rica teaching primary school students, where I designed high-energy, interactive daily lessons tailored to young learners.
I began my teaching journey after earning a BA in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester and obtaining my TESOL qualification. My approach remains strictly student-centered; I believe that a student's unique needs and interests should always dictate the style of the class to ensure the best possible learning outcomes.
