Mi forma de enseñanza del español nace de mi experiencia como maestra en cultura en Latinoamerica, para mí, el idioma no se aprende solo “estudiándolo”, sino conversándolo y atendiendo al contexto de situaciones reales, con sentido y con emoción.
En mis clases le doy un lugar importante a la gramática, pero de maneras variadas, a través de ejercicios de escritura creativa, prácticas de memoria, repetición y pequeñas rutinas que ayudan a fijar la estructura sin que se sientan mecánicas. Al mismo tiempo, creo profundamente en el juego, la dinámica y en abrir espacio para conexiones con tu vida personal y colectiva, porque ahí es donde el idioma se vuelve propio y los aprendizajes se vuelven más reales.
Me gusta involucrar las artes como herramienta pedagógica: imágenes, música, movimiento, escenas, pequeñas improvisaciones o textos breves pueden volverse detonantes para hablar, escribir y pensar en español de una forma más natural.
Conmigo vas a aprender a sostener conversaciones específicas (las que realmente necesitas en tu día a día o en tu trabajo) y también vamos a construir vocabulario pertinente según tu área de interés: ingenieria, cultura, academia, viajes, vida cotidiana, cocina, o lo que estés buscando. Además, intento que la mayor parte del tiempo la clase ocurra en mi español nativo, para que tu oído se acostumbre al acento, al ritmo y a los matices que no siempre se aprenden en los libros.
Soy una mujer muy paciente y dedicada a mis alumnos, me intereso de forma real y constante en los procesos de aprendizaje para hacer valer nuestro mayor recurso que es el tiempo.

My approach to teaching Spanish stems from my experience as a culture teacher in Latin America. For me, language is not learned solely by “studying” it, but by conversing and listening in real situations, with meaning and emotion.
In my classes, I give grammar an important place, but in varied ways, through creative writing exercises, memory practices, repetition, and small routines that help to reinforce structure without feeling mechanical. At the same time, I deeply believe in play, dynamics, and making space for connections with your personal and collective life, because that is where the language becomes your own and learning becomes more real.
I like to involve the arts as a pedagogical tool: images, music, movement, scenes, small improvisations, or short texts can become triggers for speaking, writing, and thinking in Spanish in a more natural way.
With me, you will learn to hold specific conversations (the ones you really need in your daily life or at work) and we will also build relevant vocabulary according to your area of interest: engineering, culture, academia, travel, everyday life, cooking, or whatever you are looking for. In addition, I try to conduct most of the class in my native Spanish so that your ear can get used to the accent, rhythm, and nuances that are not always learned in books.
I am a very patient woman who is dedicated to my students. I take a genuine and constant interest in the learning process in order to make the most of our greatest resource: time.
